My personal opinion, after having used it for a few days now, is a few 
months.

The core of the thing still needs a decent amount of work to be done, I 
think.  After that's done, from what i've heard, the Windoze gooey has a 
bit of prettying up needed.  After that's all done, it'll be ready for 
true beta testing to find the deep-down bugs, which probably won't take 
long as they've released what is done now as beta.
