There are more add-ons available for Windows.. or, rather, there were 
the last time I looked.  :-)

Also, if the linux box isn't connected to the Internet, the only way to 
run it w/o a network connection is to copy units over, and the easiest 
way to do that is if you're running the NT version under Wine...
