I think maybe it's assumed there's another 100,000 units out there not 
in that list?  Or, perhaps they're including the Wine-run units, 
assuming there's probably at least 1% of the units being run under Linux 
being run under Wine?

	And I don't see "linux-gnu-static" that you mentioned in that list

I would guess perhaps that's the libc1 version listed.  I don't think 
SETI@Home was ever actually compiled against a c library that wasn't 
glibc... so if you ran a 'libc1' system, you'd need the static client.  
Just a guess, though.
