For the past few days several of my machines have been taking a lot longer
than they usually do to process a WU, up to twice as long. Anyone else
seeing this? Using GUI.

There often is discussion on this at the main Seti forums. Often the
slowing computers just need a reboot once in awhile. There may be
other fixes but I don't remember exactly what. You'll get faster
action if you get rid of the GUI and use the CLI. This is also on the
main Seti forums.
