For the past few days several of my machines have been taking a lot
longer than they usually do to process a WU, up to twice as long.
Anyone else seeing this? Using GUI.

There often is discussion on this at the main Seti forums. Often the
slowing computers just need a reboot once in awhile. There may be
other fixes but I don't remember exactly what. You'll get faster
action if you get rid of the GUI and use the CLI. This is also on the
main Seti forums.

Thanks. The PCs are rebooted now and again. I can't be bothered with leaning
the CLI version this close to the change-over to BOINC. I dislike web-based
forums, much prefer usenet.

Cheers,
