what exactly "Didn't work"? (what it mean?)
can't your nameserver resolve the IP-address for
setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu ?

if so, then use another nameserver
or complain your ISP
or...
.. just add appropriate record to hosts file..
at least the last version should be work..
