Nope. Just fire and forget. The CLI defaults to idle priority so it'll
cede processor cycles to pretty much anything else you are doing all by
itself.
FWIW, I'd suggest taking a few minutes to set up either SETI Driver/SETI Spy
to cache some work units and give you some feedback on stats OR SETI Hide to
accomplish the same thing. If "bother" is a factor, SETI Hide is probably
the easiest route to take.
