That is why you should put a couple of days worth of numbers in the
"desired cache size" box. i.e. if you can do 2 units in 3 hours that
is 16 per day and you would put 32 or so in the box. It does take
harddrive space to cache units locally, make sure you aren't maxed
out.
(I missed the above text before.)
No problem, I have 2x80GB Seagate HD's configured as a 160GB
RAID 0 HD. I got PLENTY of space. :)
(Also got me twin 512MB Corsair XMS DDR dual 400 w/ LED's.)
As i said - it's a "sweet" machine. [I splurged for once. After 6 years
of suffering through Win95 for the first four and then two more after
I upgraded to Win98. The "pain" remained the same once I installed
Win98 (I admit it is a "better" os) but the machine was now *slow*
by the new 3D standards.]

Glad the system is up and running and everything is working!
Boinc is having similar problems connecting now too. Wonder if they
are connected. Maybe Berkeley Campus is down again?
This "1 day event" happens like once every 6 months... wonder if
they are doing maintanence on their servers. Can you imagine the
pummeling they get - yeow! (Then again it's nothing compared to
the pummeling at Yahoo, or GOOGLE!)
