See note 9
Looks like Socket 370 parts that don't SMP. Of course, Intel has been
around so long, they're probably feeble, too. Why don't you give them
a call and straighten them out.

Ok. I'll play some more. Look at your Intel documentation once more.
Yes, note #9 says "These processors will not be validated in Dual
Processor (DP) applications." I acknowledge that you wished me to see
that specific note. Now look at the right-hand column of the table in
the PDF headed "Notes". Go down the whole list. Do you see a note #9
for EVERY socket 370 CPU's listed? Of course not. Why? Because as
we've been trying to tell you, MOST of these CPU's ARE DP capable. The
fact the a few are not does not validate your argument that "only slot
one PIII's are supported in dual processor PC's"
I just love it when someone I'm arguing with provides the proof of MY
point for me. Thanks. Next time, in addition to do your research
BEFORE you say something stupid, you might want to go back to school
and take a basic course in critical thinking so you can learn how to
read a simple table and draw reasonable conclusions based on hard
data.
Now if you had have replied to the original poster "Be careful, a few
socket 370 PIII's were not 'dual' compatible" then none of us would
have challenged you......
