Tried to get one lately? I registered mine about 1989 or 1990. ARIN
wasn't even formed until about four years later, which is why they
show a 1994 registration date on 204.128.130.0.
I guess you misunderstood what I was saying...
You went from saying, "But these documents clearly show..." to saying
"Mine is bigger than yours!" ... which isn't a very convincing way to
win an argument.
What I was saying was... so what if you have a class C address block?
I've probably been involved with computers and Usenet longer than
anyone else in this thread. While my primary email address has changed
a few times over the years, my real name has always been associated
with it.
Again with the 'mine is bigger than yours' argument. Your claim doesn't
hold much weight, BTW, as soon as you start speaking to other people who
don't use Windows/MacOS. I, personally, haven't been involved with
computers and Usenet for that long, but I'm sure there are plenty of
folks in here who have been.
I prefer not to use my real name with email addresses associated with
usenet and the like. AthlonRob is me, though.
FWIW, the oldest post of yours I found was dated August 31, 1989.
