Yep, (I haven't run the GUI version for a long time, but I think it
uses this option like the Command line one does).

:-)  used to run SETI religiously, but got out of the habit.  It makes a 
lot more sense now that I can use network resources-- I'm a paranoid 
backer-upper, so legacy machines stay on the household network just for 
that purpose, and now at least they have something else to do.

If the machines are running anyway, then it makes sense to use them.

As you are running a network, you might like to check out SetiQueue
in the add-ons section of the seti site.

Also, be aware that there are changes in the pipeline on the way S@H
is going to run - see the "Future directions" (from memory) on the
Seti home page.
