You're running the GUI version. I recommend switching to the CLI version
with a caching program. Take a look at Marcel's installer for the CLI, SETI
Driver, and SETISpy.

Every so often, the green icon in my active programs tray
disappears. To get it going again, I have to go through the
re-installation process, which loses no records of completed
work. It's just a minor pain, and I want to know the
cause. Here's what I know: After completing a work unit, it
will often read "unable to connect to server" for new unit.
Also, does S@H store anything in 'Temporary Internet Files'?
I empty mine out every couple of days, and the loss of the
icon coincided at least once with the emptying out of those files.
If not, what could be affecting it? I have S@H prefs set to "data
analysis always runs".
