Another helpfull hint:
If you are running on AC remove the batteries (when they are full).
Battery life is shortend when continuously working on AC due to the
loading -> unloading cycle. It is better to remove the batteries and put
them in once a month for a day or so...

Question for AthlonRob: Why didn't your laptop go into standby? So far I
haven't found anyway to defeat that on this one. Now that you mention it, I
think I'll leave it as is, so it doesn't overheat. I don't know what kind
of sensors this Dell has, but I will be D/L'ing some kind of mobo monitor.
Roelof suggests either Motherboard Monitor, SpeedFan, or HMonitor. Wifi
LAN with my other 4 PC's will be reality as soon as I can afford it. <g>.
