Seems the biggest problems are:
1) the Credit system (it really sucks and is no where close to "ready for
PrimeTime". It took over a month of crunching for me to get even one
credit - and a WU is worth more than 1, BTW). And no, we're not Beta
testers in it for the "credit", but instead beta testers saying "what you do
for credits sucks" (there is a BIG difference)
2) unstable SW.. They're not releasing "beta", as it's not fixes, but new
functionality. Each release seems more buggy than the last. The
development team even indicated a couple weeks back that they would do more
testing prior to releasing SW for beta, but I've yet to see it..
BONIC (and you can quote me) will not replace SETI for many months...

Works OK here, two computers, Windows98SE and WindowsME.
Normal beta glitches, as expected.
But that's why we help test.
About 10000 beta testers so far.
That's just it though - I see that most people either have minor
problems when running it or no problems at all. Only a very few ppl
can't seem to get anywhere with it - yet. It'll happen though.
I'll certainly be re-running it soon, perhaps after I give my system a
damn good kicking for trying to prove that an XP Pro system *can* fall
over badly ;)
