My dual 2.8GHz Xeon is in the same speed camp as your P4 3.0GHz. 

This is not a "mines bigger than yours", as an AMD 64FX51, with a better
FPU than Intel CPUs, does a quicker actual time.

I run 4 WUs at a time (dual + HT on each CPU), at an average speed of
5.35-5.45 hours per mid-AR WU. So, a WU comes off every 5.4/4 = 1.35
hrs.
