Subject: OS X GUI client suddenly doesn't run

For the past few days, the GUI SETI@Home client on my PowerBook
running Panther and all subsequent software updates hasn't run. That
is, the screensaver won't trigger, either off the timer or from the
hot corner. I've tried removing and reinstalling, as well as fixing
permissions, with no luck. I can see SETI@homeInit.app running with
'ps' in a terminal, so something *is* being executed.

It's possible the most recent OS updates may have broken something
(just as Panther initially broke many peoples' S@H GUI client
installations, with 10.3.2 reportedly fixing things); however, I'm
pretty sure (not positive) I saw the saver running after the 26th,
which is when the last two updates came in.

Ideas?
