I do believe that you are wrong in your assumption. I do believe that
Seti will evolve and change, as Boinc for now, and continue even if
the funding dries up to a tiny fraction of what it is now. The reason
is "it is all about the Science"! Even with little or no funding data
can be gotten and evaluated until ET is found and then found again and
again and again! I think that until ET actually comes to Earth or we
meet them "out there", the project will continue. OOOOOHHHH there will
definately be evolutions of the program, someone stopping now and
starting up again in 10 years will not believe where the Science has
taken us! That is of course assuming that ET hasn't been seen yet.
