Curiously, I can't find any mention of limits for any relatively recent
chipsets. Since the old FX chipset cache 4096 megs I suspect they all
can since that's also the limit of addressable memory under a 32bit
architecture.
Those figures aren't entirely irrelevant since there's a lot of people
running SETI on some real junkpiles of machines.
