A question for those Beta Testing the BOINC Client.
I understand the BOINC client still has alot of bugs and is a ways from
being released to fully replace the current Seti project/client. I was just
wondering what kind of crunch times are you getting per WU using BOINC
compared to the crunch times with the current SETI@Home client?
Just Curious.
SC
Crunch times are all over the place at the moment as the last few
versions of the seti application they have but a ton of dubugging code
(to help track bugs) in it which drastically increases times.
In previous versions without the debug code I was getting times of
around 4 hours 15min, now im getting units between 4 hours 40min and 16
hours +.
Average time seem a little over 12 hours 30 min (almost a 3x increase).
