I feel for both of you. I run a single machine and do my part to
"contribute" to the science as it all adds up and all counts in the big
picture, but sometimes it seems like our tiny contribution doesn't mean much
when you see people with University computer departments farmed into SETI
producing hundreds (maybe even thousands) of WU's a day.

I have an old machine gathering dust that used to pump out a WU every 30+
hours, I've considered adding it to my current system for the sake of SETI
but think I'm going to sit back and see how the BOINC testing goes before I
look at maybe building a farm of machines dedicated to the project. If the
Beta testing can bring the processing time down to a reasonable time it just
maybe feasable to hook up some older machines for strictly the BOINC
project.
