keep in mind seti@home classic (what you are using now) will be replaced
soon with a new version called boinc
you keep any credit you made with classic though

also you want to use the text/command line version
you should use version 3.03
3.08 is just a security fix (someone could read your infomation, i'm not
arsed myself, all the infomation they can get would be your name and e-mail
and the work unit you where working on i think)
3.03 is faster by about ermm i dunno 10%

just drop one of them in your seti@home directory and run it basicly
there are plenty of third party programs to make it look better, i use the
windows biult in sheduler, it hides it fine and auto runs it on startup and
such
