I switched a dual p3 system from windows xp to red hat linux 9 and
convert to the seti linux client. Something does not seem correct. the
"top" command shows each process has its cpu (0 and 1) but I am only
getting 4 work units a day instead of 8 -9 that I used to get. This is
my first venture into linux and something is wrong I would suspect...

I stuck this into /etc/rc.d/rc3.d and named it S99local
is the following script doing what it is supposed to do?
=============S99local=========

#!/bin/sh
#
# This script will be executed *after* all the other init scripts.
# You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don't
# want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.

touch /var/lock/subsys/local
cd seti
cd seti1
rm -f lock.sah
rm -f key.sah
rm -f pid.sah
./setiathome -proxy 129.162.160.145:5512 -nice 17 &
cd ..
cd seti2
rm -f lock.sah
rm -f key.sah
rm -f pid.sah
./setiathome -proxy 129.162.160.145:5512 -nice 17 &
cd ..
