Thanks everyone for your help.
I'm now running SpeedFan (www.speedfan.com) which helps to monitor the speed
of the fan(s) and shows the temperatures.
Even without Seti running, my CPU is at 23C, Motherboard 52C, AUX 34C, but
the killer is Temp2 at 77C.

This can't be right. You can't have CPU running @ 23�C unless the room temperature
is like 10�C or you're using water cooling.
The 77 is probably your CPU, and that's the problem. Even with a cheapo fan, it 
shouldn't go over 55-60, you probably need a new one.
