I am in no hurry to see BOINC.  I don't like the fact that the client
updates itself.  I first registered on
Sat Jun 26 10:54:13 1999 UTC.  This has driven me to build many a fine
boxen...

 I'm not in a hurry for BOINC either, for various reasons.  Just thought it 
might be kind of nice (for lack of a better word) if the BOINC launch was 
on the 5th anniversary of the S@H launch.  Not important.  Just nice.  :-)

 I haven't paid too much attention to the details of BOINC, but if it does 
update itself, that would make me a bit uncomfortable too.  It's just 
something I generally don't like.  I prefer to keep control and update 
things if/when I decide to.  If it prompted you to d/l and install an 
update, that would be one thing, but if it just does it ...
