I am using SETI@Home 3.08 on a Windows 2000 system. I am not using
the CLI client, but instead the GUI based client. I ran a test with
the "stop_after"send.txt" meathod used for UNIX/Linux systems, but
that didn't seem to work. I can set my Preferences to "Ask me before
connecting to the internet" but I think that once I connect, it will
start to download another set ( I could interrupt it though)

Thank you.

If you are quitting you could just let it download and then delete the
whole thing off your system. One workunit in the whole scheme of
things is not that important. If it is "the" workunit you will have
just missed it.
