(Flying objects that are not yet identified.) They might be enemy aircraft. Now it *would* be surprising any air force were *not* interested in unidentified aircraft intruding into their airspace. In fact it would be a criminal dereliction of their very duty. "The Air Force are interested in unidentified intruders." Well, who would'a thort, eh Cuzzin Cletus?!Indeed, I for one see UFOs routinely. There are a fair number of airports near where I live.... :-) I doubt most of them are spaceworthy, though, although those lucky enough to live near Kennedy Space Center might see an occasional shuttle launch. Not sure if I could see a shuttle landing. I think the shuttle might have passed over my house (and a lot of other houses!) at one point, and there wasn't much to see -- a silver sliver moving fast -- but it's an interesting concept to think about our astronauts up there. Now if a space princess were to take an interest in me, along with a red-headed female scientist, a piratess, a couple of female policemen (one a complete ditz, the other reasonably competent), and a youngster tagging along for the ride (whose sister is she anyway?) and my granddad...oh, wait, it's been done. :-) (Besides, I'd probably be the kid's dad by now anyway. His portrayal wasn't exactly the most flattering... :-) ) -- #191, ewill3@earthlink.net It's still legal to go .sigless.
