Hi franco,
In this case you'll be pleased to know that you're not wrong, I am in fact
currently running the 3,08 client, I'm going to change it now.

Interesting page. My system is pretty much identical to the guy in
position
18. Identical CPU/FSB/RAM amount/speed. (Tbred 2.1Ghz, 200Mhz
FSB/RAM 512MB) How do you benchmark? Is it an average of a certain
amount of units or what?
No, it's the time needed for processing a standarized WU. Have a
look here:

You can download the WU from this site...
Thanks, might give it a try sometime.
I see everyone is using CLI 3.03, how can I tell if that's what
I'm using? I used "Easy SETI CLI" to install mine. Maybe I'd get
better results just letting the machine run SETI alone for a
while, leave it on overnight or something. My times vary from (in
the last 20 units)
2.098hrs to 3.265hrs (all completed). The fastest time for a
completed unit in the log is
1.857hrs, last month. The log goes back to Dec 23rd last year and
there are a few units that completed in under two hours.
Yes, it's interesting. Especially with the lots of non-x86 systems
as a comparison.
But how can I tell whether I'm using CLI 3.03? That seems to be the
fastest client.
