Cannot see why as adaware does not run in the background unless they have
changed it , it could be your AVG though :)

I've added both Adaware & 'actively running' AVG, after I've started
crunching, & saw no slow-downs or probs whatsoever.

BTW - AVG has been doing definition updates virtually everyday lately,
prolly due to Sasser.*  And...AVG provided faster definition update
responses than EITHER Symantec or McAfee.
