Saw the subj line's title mentioned here recently:
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/seti-store/set20roadfor.html

It's 17 U$D, + free shipping, at Amazon. I'm looking for a read that
focuses
a bit on the technology side of SETI, at level suitable for someone
working
in technology. It doesn't have to be at a 'true' Electrical Engineering
level, but just not so dumbed down that I have to wade through pages of
basic concepts, like binary #'s, A/D conversions, & the inverse square
law.

I just recently wasted 17 bucks on McConnell's "Beyond contact...":
 http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/alien/articles/

It was published by O'Reilly, written by a SAH 'insider', and got four
stars
at Amazon, so I had high hopes...what a waste!

W/SETI 2020, I'm hoping for some reasonably decent technical discussion.
Anybody got an opinion?

Thx
