I use the pc for email, web browsing so if I have it on I might as well have
seti running. It will be quite a while before I get to 500 units though.

Good effort and good reliability!

If you use the machine for other tasks, then it may as well stay busy
rather than idle.

If it is only running s@h, then my opinion is that you would contribute
more by contributing your electricity costs to s@h directly.

But hey, it's fun also...
