Hi guys,

I'd appreciate your help as I am pretty new to the whole SETI
commnunity. So to make the long story short. Yesterday I installed
SETI together with SETI spy to be able to get some more detailed
information on "what is really done". Firstly, the processing
efficiency read about 5,26 CPU Cycles per FLOP(about 7 hours per WU as
far as I remember correctly), which I found pretty realistic (compared
to the list provided by the app). Then I just kinda started playing
with the calibration tool :-)). Since then everything seems to have
gotten messed up. It takes 31 hours to process a WU(Spy is reading
62,99 Cycles per FLOP). I mean it does not really neccessarily have to
do the calibration, however the whole SETI system works veeery slowly
now. By the way, I have a Acer TravelMate 242XC, 2.4Ghz Intel Celeron
Mobile, 256MB RAM(Spy reads 20kb L1 Cache, and 0kb L2 which ist
obviously not correct, but i dont know the real values either). So if
you have any ideas on how to get this thing work properly please post
here. Thank you in advance.
