You can run both, but you get haldf the cpu power per program lik 49/51 ect/
So basically it will take longer to complete each packet they send you.

I signed up for the BOINC beta also, seems fast, but you won't get credit
moved over when it is fully launched.

I was just wondering, is it possible, or even desirable, to run both SETI
CLI and BOINC on the same machine? I'd like to run SAH in the background
while I'm using my machine (as I do now) but have BOINC kick in when I
leave
the machine.

I'm not sure how BOINC handles handing off CPU cycles to other programs if
I
have it set to run all the time, I know SETI does this well. I was
wondering
if I could have BOINC set to kick in when the machine is idle (no user
input) but the CLI running the rest of the time. When BOINC kicks in,
which
app will get the CPU cycles?

Thanks for any replies.
