Ok. You have 4.9+ million users chomping at the bit to ul and dl wu's...
HOLY MACERAL - TALK ABOUT TRAFFIC!!! HAhahahaha LOL! :)
More like half a million: the total-users stat includes every account
that's ever been created. The number of active users peaked at a
little under 650,000 last summer.
This distinction is b/c some users cannot return wu's in less than 2 days.
But this does not make them non-existent - just outside the range of the
definition of "active user."
The number I was using was the "total number of sers."
See <http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/numusers.html>.
I had some connection problems (a couple of clients quitting with the
"can't open file" message, and others taking a long time to connect)
over the weekend, but things seemed to be improving today.
The data server was down (it gave users connection problems) and is now back
up. However, while we can get wu's I still have problems finding out what my
stats are. I'm sure I am going to miss my long awaited mark of 5000 wu's.
*sigh*
