I'm running two instances of SatH on a 3Gig Hyper-Threading machine.
After
SatH has been down so many times, I'm going to cache much more than
the
4
I
usually have.

Why don't they email all of us? This is not unreasonable b/c I know
when
hotmail (MS) has an announcement about some offer, it goes to all of
my
accounts... and they must have many more users than "just" 5 million.

Anyway, what's a good cache size? (I got plenty of space.) Say like
...
110?
( = 16 wu's/day * 7 days :)

Sweet,

I upped my own Cache from a 3 day WU cache to a 7 day WU cache just
over
a
month or so ago. Given the often unstability of the Seti Server I like
to
have a ready supply of WU just in case and I always restock the cache
when
they announce a outage just in case.

A 3 day cache was recommended but a 7 day cache works for me.

SC

thx! i wasnt sure if 110 was too large... but according to "John" holding
a
wu for more than 2 days doesnt go towards the science. and although i like
the numbers i am more interested in the science. so i guess ill wait till
the servers r up (which they r now)

I made it 20 b/c of the fact that wu's not returned within 2 days are no
longer considered part of the science.
