Hi to you all
QUESTION ...........I have joined the BOINC team and i have got some w.u are they uploaded
to berkley automaticly or do wait untill all w.u are completed and is there a command line
version ? because its takeing 16 hrs for 100% w.u when with seti@home it was takeing 7.5
hrs
Yes there is a command line but it is not error free and easy yet. The
reason it is taking so long is because up until the latest version,
3.05 you ARE using that one, RIGHT?!, the program was full of
debugging stuff. The next couple of versions should have the debugging
stuff back but then we should be crunching using the release code.
Hopefully!!
And yes as the program learns it will send the completed units back on
its own. When you signed up you chose an amount of time to cache units
on your computer, both a min and max. Boinc operates on those
guidelines. They can be modified by logging into your account on line.
