After Boinc is up and running full time and everything is deemed okay
by the Seti Team the old Seti will be shutdown. At the same time, or
their abouts, all of the beta clients will also be refused
connections, everyone will then be processing Seti thru the release
version of Boinc.
While I get the impression things aren't set in stone, my understanding
is that after M1 (release), there will still be Alpha and Beta to test
clients before they hit the public. In essence, I think there will be
three Berkeley-run projects, Alpha, Beta, and Release. :-)
Only time will tell, though.
