Hi,

I'm on a Dell box running WinMe. I'm pretty savvy about windows, but
know
next to nothing about DOS. I'm running S@H with SetiGate.

I've read that S@H runs faster in the command line version, and I
wouldn't
mind giving it a try. I know for sure that S@H runs faster when it's
minimized.

The questions:

Can I run the CL version with SetiGate?

Is there a "CL Seti For Dummies" sort of webpage?

How can I get the Windoze version to start minimized? I've tried
changing
the properties of the shortcut but that doesn't seem to work.

TIA,

Chakolate

Setigate and seti cli work very well together. I you read the word document
that downloaded with
setigate it gives instruction on how to set up locally or across a network.

To get seti (cli version) to run minimised, copy a file called conagent.exe
from windows/system into your
seti@home folder. I don't know if this works with the screensaver version.

Any problems, post back to the group.

nic.
