I, too, have recently had problems with SETI.  I've been running SETI and 
SETIQueue on a Gateway using XP for over a year, and recently it started 
crashing and also hanging the machine.  I reinstalled SETIQueue, no luck.  
I quit using SQ and made SETI direct (with a constant connection to the 
'net), and not only would SETI hang during data transfer, I couldn't get 
out on the 'net via email, browser, etc.  Reboot fixed connection problem 
but not SETI problem - it would hang again next data transfer.  I tried 
reinstalling SETI (3.0.8) but that didn't help.  Any ideas?
