Why?


My only issues against boinc is (1) that it is new and (2) that it has automatic software updates. Hence, when ready, it will only go onto 'non-critical' machines.

Later, boinc with disabled automatic updates might go onto more important machines when shown to have no adverse system effects.


(Note: Auto-updating Windoze is _not_ active on any of my critical machines! (:-))
