There's been no formal announcement, so correct me if I'm wrong, but
SETI
appears to be BOINC'ing when examing the various stats here:

The site is in testing. It is NOT READY for public consumption. Some
individuals who were trusted to keep the site's address private released
the information when they likely really shouldn't have.

There are still A LOT of kinks to be ironed out before the site is ready
for beta testers to hop onboard... letalone those expecting a nice
stable experience.

That being said, would you be aware, or have the liberty to comment, as to
whether credit granted in this current endeavor will remain valid when the
roll-out becomes 'official'???

BTW - I took my machine off the project, since the servers have become
gridlocked to the point of being virtually unworkable. I've got a 1/2 dozen
WU's that will not u/l, due to the lack of a server ACK, even when
attempting a manual x-mit.

The credits earned during the Beta test WILL NOT be carried over when
the program is released to the public.
The credits we earn aide in the testing of the whole program, some
problems still exist with the crediting.
The only thing is to keep trying to upload the units or just delete
them.
After a time frame the units are redistributed to a new bunch of
people if the results aren't returned.
