You ARE using the correct site now!
The "maggie" site was around in May 2003, here is the site I got in
the email I got when I signed up then:
http://maggie.ssl.berkeley.edu/client_test/

For the last 24 hrs or so, the response I've been getting is 'no work
available' from
the server...Then setiboinc defers contact for 'x' length of time. I assume
some sort
of database or other maintenance work is in progress.
