So I guess I'm telling porkies...but it is only one CPU...honest

Also just got a new notebook for work. Dell Latitude D600, that fair
rocks for a 1.4GHz (Has a 1MB L2 cache as well), averages a wu every 2
hours 40 minutes.

I will assume you are running the CLI, if so, then you can use
SetiDriver and up the "maximum processes" block to 2 and run 2
processes at the same time. My son has a D800 with the same 1 meg
cache and he can do 1 unit in about 2 hours but 2 units in 2 hours 10
minutes! He is doing between 10 and 14 per day!
Make sure you put at least 4 in the "desired cache size" box.

I see you can get them with a 2MB cache now...

The D600 I have isn't a HT :( running Seti Spy and Seti Driver...1 wu
and cpu is at 100% ahh well it's a few more wu's crunched before Seti
shuts down and moves onto BOINC.
Neither is the D800 but with the 1 meg L2 cache you can run 2
instances at one time. Try it, you'l like it! Just up the maximum
processes to 2 and watch the machine turn out 2 at a time.
I loaded SetiWatch because SetiSpy only shows the unit farthest along
when it reports.
