I have been running SETI for a few years now over 6,550 hours and have just
clocked my 500th WU.

Firstly, I've had no email with my certificate for my 500th unit. Do they
still send out certificates?

Secondly, there's a lot of chat about BOINC. I don't frequent this group
often and whilst trying not to make myself look silly, but what is it?
