In order for the changes to be effective you MUST go thru the log-in
way! Then just click on "settings" and then "click to edit settings"
and you can change the settings to whatever you choose.
If you can't get back to where you are supposed to be you may have
messed the program up and need to contact the people at the website.


Thanks for the advice. 

Since I posted, I have installed a new Queue over the existing. 

On launching Queue and heading for the Override settings the numbers I
type in now stick. 

I find as long as I keep the maximum WU number below 100 (3 figures) the
new values remain. Type in any number > 99 and they all revert to 0.

Strange, but OK for me now!! : ))  a happy bunny when the link is
replaced today, and all reverts to normal (after the rush d/l & u/l
WUs).
