While these messages offer little detail, I don't see that more
information would be of much help to us volunteers. I read it more or
less as "We're working on it; let your clients keep checking in; be
patient." What else do we really need to know?
                            

Thanks for reminding me of these. I thought my memory was not faulty.

I am afraid I agree with the point you make. Lucky for me that I upped
my cache from 2 days to 4, as I have been unable to send any completed
WUs in today. Now got a stack, and 3 days supply of WUs to crunch.

When the green Data Server is up and running OK for a few days, then U
will down the cache to 2 days again.
