I nosed around the new BOINC directory and found the boinc_cli
executable much to my surprise. GREAT I thought, but it would not
install as a service. boinc_cli -install appears to run then errors
out. Says the service was not added and it's marked for deletion. It
does find the project, reports version etc...

Tried rebooting etc, no joy. Just for grins, I changed the old SETI
Service AppDirectory and Application strings to correspond with the new
BOINC install directory and boinc_cli.exe, started the service and it's
now running at 97-100%. Shows it as "setiathome_3.08" in the task
manager. I'll have to wait and see what happens.

Hey...might be a nice find, for a svc work-around, tho I was under the
impression the boinc_cli -install switch worked as a straight-up CLI
install, and not as a service install. I could be mistaken, though.

LOL - I've been pokin' around, everywhere, tryin' to find the 3.08.exe.
After takin' a look at my WU times, I'd love to replace it w/CLI_3.03 to see
what happens. I don't know if it would work, tho I'm pretty sure Berkeley
wouldn't be too hot on the idea. <g>
