I downloaded the BOINC client for Mac OS X last night and here is what it
does
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [---] Starting BOINC client version 3.18 for
powerpc-apple-darwin
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Project prefs: using
your defaults
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Host ID not assigned
yet
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [---] No general preferences found - using BOINC
defaults
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [---] Fewer active results than CPUs; requesting more
work
2004-06-24 08:34:28 [http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/] Requesting 17280
seconds of work
SIGSEGV: segmentation violation
Exiting...
Has anyone else gotten this?
I've done chmod +x on the executable.
