Berkeley didn't send out "original email" with S@h; participants had
to request it. Those who didn't (or did and didn't save it offline)
have frequently ended up unable to edit their accounts.

You can see that I said the same thing that you did just differently.
When you signed up for Seti you provided an email account, to that
account was emailed your user account id.
Those that saved that account number can now sign up for Boinc and
there stats will be displayed on the user account page, those that did
not save it will not have that stat on there. Oh and if you are part
of a group then that is carried over as well but obviously if you have
to log in again as a new user that info is not available and you will
have to join the group again.
The stats is a minor thing because EVERYONE has zero stats for Boinc!
