Check your "Pending" Credits.
OK, found it.
I show 126 units there, only 2 are 'received',
and one of those shows an error.
In the BOINC client(s), I show 20 WUs returned.
What happens (to the best of my knowledge) is that all WU's are sent to at
least two computers. Once a WU has been returned from two different accounts
and, if the results tally, then, and only then, are you (both) credited with
the unit.
This is done in an attempt to make sure that a machine isn't returning
corrupted units and in an attempt to stop cheating. Even with S@H classic
each WU was sent out more than once to check that the result was kosher.
BOINC makes it easier server-side and only gives credit where it's due.
For instance, I once tried an insane overclock with one of my machines and
forgot that SETI was running. In the two hours I left it running it
'returned' something like 20 units. They were showing up as errors in the
log, maybe 7-10% completed, but I still got credit for them. This situation
could be repeated by someone who was simply in it for the numbers, bragging
rights etc. Under this new system, it may take a wee while for your units to
be finalised and credited to your acount but at least everyone knows that no
one (or team) is cheating.
So basically, until someone else returns the same unit with the same result
it will be listed as 'pending'. I believe that if there is an error (as one
of your units is showing) the unit is sent out to yet another PC to see
which of the original two machines returned a wrong result. Maybe that
person will then be notified? That would be good, after all, who wants a
machine that is making computational errors?
HTHs, happy crunching.
