No, the stats are updated continuously, like 'classic'.... although a 
few pages are cached server-side for an hour or two (such as the 
top_*.php pages).

The way boinc works is it downloads units, crunches them, uploads the 
results as soon as one is crunched, but then doesn't report the credit 
from the workunit until a server RPC call is made.  The server RPC call 
is made when more units are downloaded, when you tell boinc to update 
its preferences for the project, or six (they may have recently upped it 
to 12 or 24) hours before the workunit's deadline.

So a unit will crunch and be uploaded, but you won't claim it until the 
software makes the server RPC call.  But the stats you see are 
real-time....
